The company is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Neil Klepeis as Co-Founder & Chief Scientist. Dr. Klepeis brings 25+ years of experience developing advanced detection, modeling and risk analysis of airborne contaminants, significantly enhancing CLYR's expertise and capabilities in air quality monitoring technology.

Dr. Neil Klepeis is an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Environmental Health at the School of Public Health at San Diego State University. He specializes in research and development at the intersection of environmental and behavioral health, education, and technology. His work focuses on interventions and educational approaches that empower individuals to become citizen scientists in their own lives.

Dr. Klepeis has an extensive publication record, including research on exposure to environmental pollutants and the development of computational models for pollutant exposure assessment. He has also contributed to studies on indoor air quality, particularly concerning pollutant sources and exposures in residential settings. His interdisciplinary approach integrates technology and computational science to address complex issues in environmental health. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Colgate University, a M.S. in Chemistry from Stanford University, and Ph.D. in Environmental & Health Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
